Background                

Locatedin Lovoni, Ovalau, we grow a number of Kava varieties including Matakaro on the volcanic rich soil. We harvest/buy kava locally at 3 years+  of age, we then process and dry the Kava in our 1 tonne capacity solar drier. Kava is then pounded and vacuum packed for freshness and packaged in our attractive box style packaging which includes leaflet and reusable clip for sealing in freshness once Kava is opened. We are a recipient of the 2022 New Export Strategy grant to install a solar powered system to our Kava processing facility. This will mean that our Kava will be processed, dried and packaged with no carbon footprint using 100% renewable energy resources. Locally we provide a Kava market to farmers and employ a local workforce including women and youth.
