Background

Dayals Steels is Fiji’s largest and fully locally-owned steel rolling mill employing close to one hundred staff. It is situated in the tax-free zone of Ba with an investment of $35 million, and is part of M R Dayal Group which is a more than 80-year-oldpioneer family business in Ba.

Dayals Steels is accredited with three ISO certifications: ISO 9001:2015 for Quality Management System, ISO 45001: 2018 for Occupational and Health Management System and ISO14001:2015 for Environmental Management System

The company is also audited by ACRS (Australasian Certification for Reinforcing Steels)towards certification. Their products conform to applicable standards such as AS NZS 4671 for deformed bars.

Specializing in reinforcement bars, wire mesh, structural purlins, roofing iron and accessories in various specifications, Dayals Steels products are now exported to Pacific Island countries as well. Led by the Managing Director Mr Jay Dayal and Director of Operations Mr Praneesh Dayal, the company only foresees tremendous ambitious growth in the coming future.
